Kindled Community Sauna + Kindling Community Arts (so cute huh?!) are teaming up to offer you a special afternoon of wellness and creative connection.
Sunday March 8th from 12-3:30pm.
Our Eastmorland neighbor Allison recently renovated an old church at 3529 Margaret St. and converted it into a gorgeous home. She is generously welcoming us to use her space and huge yard for this event. It has a lovely sanctuary vibe and will be the perfect space to connect over food, sauna, and creativity.
I’ll provide a couple options for art-making including a thoughtful collage project (postcards to congress perhaps?) and a very satisfying and approachable watercolor technique. Please feel free to bring along your own project if you’d like! This is a low-pressure art-making environment focused on play and process.
Jaclyn of Kindled Community Sauna will bring her mobile set-up right to our neighborhood. The sauna seats 6 people at a time, so we will rotate through with each person getting about 1 full hour of sauna time. See below for a bit more about Kindled Community Sauna!
I will provide a huge pot of vegan dal soup and unlimited hot tea! Please bring sides or snacky additions to share if you’d like, but no pressure!
I’m so excited to connect, or reconnect.

KINDLED Community Sauna is born from a dream of leading people toward wellness and toward connection with others. Sauna has the ability to strip us down both mentally and physically- lighter clothing, no screens, more vulnerability, limited status symbols. Facing the heat and overcoming it fosters grit, resilience, and relaxation. There is no rigid structure to these sauna sessions. You will move through the thermic cycle of hot sauna, cold winter air, rest, rehydrate and repeat how it feels best to your body.
Each guest will be required to sign a waiver before using the sauna. Tickets are non-refundable, but you are welcome to transfer them to a friend if you are unable to join.
